Milwaukee Bucks vs Houston Rockets

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

I don’t really understand the spread for this game, which is a good thing. The Houston Rockets at 18-9 are one of the strongest home teams in the NBA this season, while the visiting Milwaukee Bucks are only 12-15 on the road.

While it’s true that the Bucks have been playing well lately, winning their last four games, the Rockets are still the superior, deeper team. My spread for this game is Houston -7, so the Rockets are where the value lies.

Best Bet: Houston -4.5 (-105)

Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers

Start Time – 10:30 PM EST

This game would be much more intriguing if every Dallas big man – including Anthony Davis – weren’t in street clothes for it. But Luka Doncic will be appearing in it in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform, which is the most important thing.

Despite Doncic likely to go off, I’m still taking the Mavericks on the spread in this one. The Lakers should only be about a two-point favorite here.
