It’s been an up-and-down 2024 for the team who has lost three of their last four games. They now sit with a record of 6-4, holding a two-game lead in the AFC South.
It’s not been a good season for the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott is shelved for the rest of the year, the sun is creating distractions in the stadium and the rumors are catching up with big media (that Sean Green started preseason) that maybe Deion will be the head coach next year. Cooper Rush Under 179.5 Passing Yards (-101)
This is mostly a bet against being able to trust the Dallas Cowboys. Sure, Rush is supposed to start the game, but how long is his leash? If he has a bad first half on prime-time Monday Night Football, you don’t think Jerry will get into the coach’s ear about getting Lance out there?
On top of that, Rush only had 45 yards last week against Philadelphia. A game where he was benched for Trey Lance for a quarter of the snaps.
Houston Texans -6.5 (-113)
CJ Stroud and a competent Texans team against Cooper Rush and the dumpster fire that is the Dallas Cowboys right now. At less than a touchdown for the spread. There’s no reason to even think twice about this bet in my opinion. Only the Tennessee Titans are worse than Dallas against the spread this season, the Cowboys are just 2-7. While the Texans haven’t had the most impressive season, this is a great spot for them to shine.
