Utah Jazz vs San Antonio Spurs

Start Time – 5:00 PM EST

Utah STINKS! Well, not the state of Utah necessarily – I have never visited – but the basketball team named the Utah Jazz stinks. The 1-7 Jazz are ranked as the worst team in the NBA by Basketball Reference, but that was probably their plan all along with a stacked NBA draft coming next June.

While the 4-5 San Antonio Spurs are technically only 2.5 games better than the Jazz in the standings, they are an infinitely better team in actuality. And they have that tall French guy. I have this line pegged as high as San Antonio -20. Let’s go.

Toronto Raptors vs Los Angeles Clippers

Start Time – 10:30 PM EST

The Los Angeles Clippers are battling the Kings in Sacramento as I type these words, so tomorrow will be the second night of a back-to-back for them. But the trip isn’t far and they’re back home at the Intuit Dome on Saturday.

While their 4-4 record isn’t impressive, the Clippers have actually been one of the league’s best teams when you look underneath the hood, with a defense ranked seventh in the league. And the Raptors are still banged up and have yet to win a road game. Clippers -13 would be a playable line, so I’m happy.
