For my best bet for Friday (May 3rd): NBA predictions, I’m finally not making a play on a game involving a Boston sports team, and instead we’re headed to the Kia Center in Orlando. The home team will be fighting for their playoff lives Friday night in front of the faithful.

Best Bet For Friday (May 3rd): NBA Predictions

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic

Start Time – 7:00 pm EST

After getting stomped in both of this series’s games in Orlando, the Cleveland Cavaliers squeaked out a one-point win in Game 5 on their home court. Guard Darius Garland broke out of his scoring slump and poured in 23 points for the winners. However, I’m betting against him doing this in Game 6.

Garland’s 23-point game was the only time this series he’s topped the 17.5 line he’s set at for Friday night. It’s also the first time since April 7th that he’s scored 18 or more in a game – he went six straight games under. I think against a tough defensive team like Orlando, on their home court, he’ll struggle to top it in Game 6.
