My best bet for Wednesday took place on a baseball diamond in Washington and it cashed, so let’s stay in D.C. and move over to the Capital One Arena for Friday night. My best bet for Friday is an NBA player prop.

Deandre Ayton’s wish to leave Phoenix hasn’t really played out to his advantage this season, as he’s playing on the moribund Portland Trail Blazers PLUS he’s scoring less on fewer shots than he did in the desert. On that note, I think expecting him to score over 23.5 points tomorrow in Washington is ill-advised. He’s averaging 16.1 ppg this season and has only scored 24 or more once in his last four games.
