Well, Degens. Sunday night’s Quick Pick entries went two out of three, and those Insured option players cashed yet again! Last week was a monster one, with profits upwards of 6-7.5x, depending on the options played. Monday starts a new week, and the hardwood Madness cools off for the next couple of days. Sadly, the NHL slate is lighter than a Budweiser tonight, with just two games on the docket. But if there is a will, there is a way, and if there are games, then there’s a banger to cash! So, here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for March 25.
The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for March 25
Ivan Barbashev Higher Than 0.5 Points (1.1x Odds)
The Vegas Golden Knights come into Monday night possessing the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. Their opponent will be the St. Louis Blues, who are just four points behind them. The game should be pretty tactical, and I expect a few names to show up in spaces they usually wouldn’t. Hence, we are taking a small swing on winger Ivan Barbashev tonight. He comes in with 39 points on the season but did have a goal his last time on the ice. More importantly, Barbashev has tallied two points and six shots on goal against the Blues in two games this season. There is an X-factor here, and Barbashev might just be holding the aces for Vegas. With a little extra spice, let’s take Ivan Barbashev Higher Than 0.5 Points against the St. Louis Blues.
Quinn Hughes Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Our second NHL Underdog entry is a frequent flyer here on the lines of The Quick Pick. Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes is having an absolutely monster season. He skates into Monday on 80 points, with 67 of them coming by way of the assist. Hughes also now has assists in three of his last four games. It’s also worth noting that Quinn tallied two assists against these same Kings just three weeks ago. If the Canucks want the President’s Trophy, then they need two points tonight. And, if they come away with two points my money is on Quinn Hughes’s name on the box score. So let’s trust Quinn Hughes here to go Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the LA Kings.
Anze Kopitar Higher Than 0.5 Points
The LA Kings have strung together three wins in a row and will want to make it four tonight in Vancouver. In those three straight wins, the Kings have been bringing on the heavy artillery, scoring 16 goals in total. Veteran center Anze Kopitar has found his name on the score sheet in all three wins. In fact, he’s tallied at least two points in each of the last three games. And oh, by the way? Kopitar tallied a goal and an assist against these same Vancouver Canucks back on February 29. We will not go quietly into the night because we’re cashing this banger! Let’s punch Anze Kopitar Higher Than 0.5 Points and collect our winnings.
