This name right here should not come as a shock to any of our loyal readers and tailers. The Predators defenseman has been on an absolute heater lately. Josi comes into Saturday’s matchup against the Red Wings on a five-game point streak. Not to mention, three of those five games have been multi-point nights.
And Josi has now tallied a whopping 19 points across his last 13 games played. He has been a reliable source of offense for his team, who desperately need to keep taking two points. Saturday, we’re looking to the Emperor, Roman Josi, to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Red Wings!
Quinn Hughes Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Our second NHL Underdog entry goes from one standout defenseman to another. But this one is just a bit younger and plays his hockey North of the border. Canucks d-man Quinn Hughes is up to 79 points this season. He also skates into Saturday’s game against the Flames with three assists in his last three games.
Hughes also has a knack for peppering the box score when the opposition is Calgary. In two games this season, Hughes has tallied a goal and an assist against the Flames. We’re going in like Quinn with our second entry on Saturday. We’re mashing Quinn Hughes to go Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Flames.
Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Last but certainly not least, we’re looking toward another reliable veteran defenseman. The Lightning blue-liner has put together a 68-point season, of which 56 points are by way of the assist.
Tampa will be out in LA on Saturday night, and I estimate that Hedman’s services will be required. Victor has tallied six assists in seven games here in March, and tonight, he’s going to make it seven in eight. Carry us home, tonight Mr. Hedman. We’re going with Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists out in La-La land to cash our banger!
