Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Indiana Pacers

I love the line we’re getting on the Minnesota Timberwolves visiting the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. The Wolves are the third-best team in the NBA on the road this season, currently sitting with a 20-11 record. And Indiana is only a slightly above-average team at home.
What’s more, Minnesota has won four straight games on the road, and the first time these two teams hooked up, Minnesota won by 18 points. The total seems to be in the right range, but it’s hard to say as Minnesota is stingy on defense and Indiana is the opposite. No play there regardless.

Boston Celtics vs. Denver Nuggets

Spread: Celtics -1.5
Total: 223
To the premiere game on the docket, the best team in the NBA, the Boston Celtics, visting the defending champion Denver Nuggets. A very rare occasion where a fully healthy Nuggets squad is the underdog for a home game.
And I’ll gladly take the Nuggets plus the 1.5 points for this game. Boston in the best team on the road this year (as well as the best home team), but I think the champs can handle them on their home turf. After losing to Phoenix at home on Tuesday, Denver should be fired up to make sure they don’t drop back-to-back in Ball Arena. And I think this game gets into the high 220s, so let’s sprinkle a bit on the Over.
Best Bet: Nuggets +1.5 (-109); Celtics/Nuggets Over 220 (-110)
