Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 12
Stephen Curry – Higher than 28.5 Points
The Golden State Warriors might be struggling this season, but you can’t pin that on Stephen Curry. The 35-year-old is having another stellar season, averaging 29.4 points per game on his normal elite shooting percentages. And he’s gone for 31 and 34 points in his last two games. The Phoenix Suns are not exactly a defensive juggernaut, so I see Curry getting above the 28.5-point mark.
Klay Thompson – Higher than 3.5 Rebounds
Klay Thompson, on the other hand, is not having a stellar season. He is, however, rebounding quite well over his last stretch of games. While he’s averaging 3.9 boards per game on the season, he’s grabbed at least four rebounds in five straight games. With 30 total rebounds in that span of games, he should safely get over the 3.5 rebound bar set for this game.
Devin Booker – Higher than 28.5 Points
While the hope was the Phoenix Suns’ ‘Big 3’ would hit the court together on Tuesday night, with Bradley Beal returning, it now appears Kevin Durant will miss the game with an ankle injury. This means Devin Booker will have to concentrate more on scoring than setting up teammates. With Golden State’s defense as bad as Phoenix’s is this season, he should get us 29 points, minimum.
