I’ll gladly take the best team in baseball at -148 for a home game. Both the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Angels can hit, so let’s splash on the Over 10.5 runs as well.
Detroit Tigers @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Bets: Detroit -122, Over 8.5 (-105)
Eduardo Rodriguez is actually a good player – on the Tigers! So good that the Los Angeles Dodgers tried to trade for him, but he blocked it (huh?!). Regardless, he’s on the bump today, so I’m going with the Detroit moneyline, but I like the Over 8.5 (too low).
Milwaukee Brewers @ Washington Nationals

Wade Miley vs. MacKenzie Gore is a big advantage for Milwaukee. Plus, the Brewers are actually trying to win this season, while Washington is definitely not. Love the -135 line.

Let’s take a swing on a big underdog in the Colorado Rockies. Not only are they playing at home, but the San Diego Padres do nothing but disappoint. They don’t deserve to be this big of a favorite.
New York Mets @ Kansas City Royals

Bet: Kansas City +164
I’ll close it out with another big home underdog. The New York Mets just held a fire sale, so there is no way the morale around the team is good. Plus, the Kansas City Royals are surging – four straight wins!
