Daily NBA Player Props – May 10th
Tyrese Maxey – Under 24.5 Points (-104)
Look, I know that Maxley had a moster of a Game 2, but the fact of the matter is, the Knicks have locked him down every game except for that one. He’s putting up just 18.7 points per game in this series an has only made one of his 12 attempted three-pointers. He attempted just 12 total shots in Game 3, which would barely be enough to hit this if he made them all. He should rebound a bit for Game 4, but I think this number is unrealistic.
Jalen Brunson – Under 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-117)
Up 3-0 in the series, Brunson doesn’t need to turn on the big game stuff here. Sure, a sweep would be nice as it would give them an extra couple days to rest for the next series, but it’s not exactly do-or-die. Additionally, he’s just 3-3 on this line in his last six games and hasn’t hit it unless he went for 30+ points. I’m expecting a slightly slower scoring game from him here.
Victor Wembanyama – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-111)
If it isn’t broke, we don’t fix it. And Wembanyama’s over on his rebounds is definitely not broke. He’s gone for 15 in all three games in this series and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The Timberwolves can’t keep him from cleaning the glass and there’s no reason to think he’d have a three rebound drop off in this pivotal Game 4.
