Daily NBA Player Props – December 19th
Jaylen Brown – Over 29.5 Points (-106)
The books just aren’t picking up the numbers on Jaylen Brown fast enough. Despite being the only real offensive threat for a surprisingly competitive Celtics squad, he is still listed at just 29.5 points here. He’s had at least 30 in eight of his last nine games and was close in the other. Additionally, he has some great history against the Heat. In the last 10 games against the Heat, he’s averaged 33.5 points – and many of those games were with Jayson Tatum in the lineup.
Chet Holmgren – Over 7.5 Rebounds (-119)
Holmgren has, in fact, come in under this mark in each of his last two games. However, those were down games for a guy who had otherwise been handling this number with regularity. In the eight straight games before that, he went over this number in each of them. That gives him a 80% hit rate on this projection over the last 10 games. I don’t care who you are playing, that is a rate you want to get in on.
Nikola Vucevic – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-165)
Closing this one out is a big man with some range. Vucevic has nailed multiple three-pointers in each of his last two games. He’s also hit it in three of his last five. To give us a little boost here, he literally just faced the Cavaliers on Wednesday. That was one of the games he dropped two deep balls for, and I like him to do it again here as well.
