Matthew Stafford and the 1-0 Los Angeles Rams head to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, for a 1:00 PM ET kickoff on Sunday. The 0-1 Tennessee Titans and rookie quarterback Cam Ward await the Rams for their first home game of the season. Let’s take a look at this Rams at Titans preview and give out a few predictions.

Week 2 NFL Confidence Picks

For the Rams in Week 1, the Houston Texans came to So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles. Matthew Stafford was very efficient, going 21/29 for 245 yards and a touchdown on the day. Puka Nacua did his thing, catching 10 passes. Devante Adams’ first game as a Ram was a successful one, as he caught four passes for 51 yards. Kyren Williams was the main workhorse out of the backfield, grabbing 66 yards on 18 attempts and a touchdown.

The Titans impressively kept the game close in a very hard road spot in Week 1 at Denver. They were down just a single point going into the fourth quarter of the game. Despite Cam Ward very much looking like a rookie quarterback. Ward went just 12/28 on the day, for only 112 yards. Tony Pollard was the leading rusher with 60 yards and also the leading receiver with a single catch for 29 yards.

Kyren Williams Over 76.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Kyren Williams was a stud last year for the Rams. Racking up 1,299 yards over 16 games. He went over 69 yards in six of the last seven games of the year and 12 of the last 13. I would have liked to see a better start to the season in Week 1, getting just 66 yards on the ground. But the Rams were playing the Houston Texans, who are projected to be a good defense this year.

This week, against the Titans, who gave up 133 yards on the ground to the RJ Harvey and JK Dobbins duo in Denver last week. The Rams don’t subscribe to sharing the carries; Williams gets them all. Outside of Matthew Stafford’s kneel-downs that count as rush attempts, there wasn’t a single other player with more than one attempt on the ground for the Rams in Week 1. It’s the Kyren Williams show, and I expect him to easily cruise past this number in Week 2 against a weak Titans defense.

Los Angeles Rams -5.5 (-108)

This is my favorite spread bet of the weekend, and it’s not even close. Getting the Rams as less than a touchdown favorite here is an absolute gift from the betting gods. I don’t care that they are on the road; this Tennessee team isn’t a good team. They held on against the Broncos and pushed the game at +8, but it’s not because they had a good performance. It’s because the Broncos wet the bed.

That’s not going to happen with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay coming to town this week. As mentioned above, I think Kyren Williams goes off big time in this one, and the Rams roll easily. You can get an alt spread of 13.5 on this one at +280. I’ll be laying that as well. The Rams roll with this one in easy fashion.
