The NFL season starts in less than two months! Today is a great time to get in your NFL futures bets! There are so many options to choose from. We’ve already taken a look at some of the best in the AFC. Now let’s take a look at some of the 2025 NFC Best Bets!
2025 NFL NFC Best Bets
Division Winners
When we talked about the AFC bets to place in the NFL today, the division winners seemed much easier. The NFC is a different beast. Several of the divisions feel up in the air. In fact, I’m only super confident in one lock, and that’s the Eagles to win the NFC East at -130.
Turning our attention to the other NFL best bets to place today for the NFC, let’s start with the NFC North. Will the Lions be able to keep their momentum going even after losing both their offensive and defensive coordinator? They are +150 to win their division, and I think they likely do win it. However, it won’t be as easy as last year.
For the NFC West, the 49ers are the favorites at +150. I’m fading the 49ers in everything. Their team got stripped down a bit due to the cap. They no longer have Deebo Samuel, and there’s something going on with almost every receiver, from injury to contract disputes. Therefore, I’m on the Rams to win this division at +195. This could be Stafford’s last ride.
The NFC South is the Buccaneers to lose. I like them at -105. However, the Falcons will be pressing hard to push them in the division. They finished close last year, and now with Michael Penix getting a full preseason of ramping up to be the starter, watch out. On top of that, the Falcons’ defense should be improved. I’m riding with Baker and the boys. However, they’ll need to have a strong season to keep on top of things.
NFC Best Bets – MVP In The NFC?
One of the NFC Best bets I’m looking at today is the MVP race. Is it possible the NFC contains the Most Valuable Player in the league? Some may think that Jalen Hurts or Saquon Barkley were overlooked last year. The MVP voting typically goes to a quarterback, specifically one who hasn’t been named MVP in a year or two.
There are two I’m circling in the NFC. We’ll start with last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, Jayden Daniels. I’m fairly confident the Eagles will win that division. However, the team that will likely threaten them the most is the Washington Commanders. If Jayden Daniels (+750) can push the Eagles for the division, he’ll have to be considered in the top MVP votes.
The other MVP Candidate is going to have to improve a lot from his rookie year to now. However, he has new weapons and a new head coach. More specifically, he has a head coach who is known for running strong offenses and getting the most out of their quarterbacks. If Jared Goff can look as good as he has, what can Ben Johnson do with Caleb Williams? Maybe they’ll need more than a year together to grow and get each other’s numbers. However, just think if Ben Johnson can lead the Bears to win that division on the play of Caleb Williams (+2800). He’ll have to be one of the top names if they can pull it off.
NFL Prop Bets In the NFC
There are a couple of ways to bet some prop bets in the NFC, and here are some of the best ones in my opinion. First off, we’ll look at the most regular-season passing yards in the NFC North. We just talked about Ben Johnson’s ability to run a really good offense and get the most out of quarterbacks. Caleb Williams is tied for last out of the starters at +320. With DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, Cole Kmet, and Colston Loveland, he should have a good shot at winning the most passing yards.
Next, we’ll go to the receiving yards leader in the NFC East. CeeDee Lamb is the favorite at +150. However, now he’ll have George Pickens to share targets with. It’s the first time Lamb has had a legitimate threat opposite him. Malik Nabers (+230) seems like a good option as well, especially after Russell Wilson said he picked the Giants after watching game film on Nabers. However, my favorite is A.J. Brown at +320. Sure, they’re a running team. However, they have proven they can also sling the ball very well, and I expect them to do so again.
Finally, let’s look at the most regular-season rushing yards in the NFC South. While Bucky Irving had a great season last year, he still shares time with Rachaad White. The favorite to have the most regular-season rushing yards in the NFC South is still a plus-money bet. I believe in Bijan Robinson (+100) having a better season than Irving, Chuba Hubbard, and Alvin Kamara.
Division Top 2
One of my favorite NFL futures bets to make is the division’s top two. Let’s take a look at some of the NFC best bets to make today when it comes to picking the top two teams.
In the NFC North, I’m fairly confident the Lions win it again. However, who finishes second is up in the air. The Packers are the favorites to finish in the top two with Detroit. Vikings are next. However, call it a homer pick, I think the Bears have a vast improvement this year. I’m taking the NFC North top two to be Lions and Bears at +550.
The NFC West is another up-in-the-air division. I already mentioned I like the Rams to win it, and I’m fading the 49ers. Will the Seahawks do well with Sam Darnold as their starting quarterback? Can their offensive line provide enough time for him? I’m not as confident in that either. Call it a long shot. However, I like the Cardinals to finish as the second team in the division. The Cardinals and Rams, as the top two, are +600.
The NFC East is too easy. The Eagles are the easy favorite, and I feel the Commanders are finishing second again. Unfortunately, that’s only -160 as far as a bet. It’ll be your decision if you want to pay the juice. As the Nascar Gambling Podcast says, you only pay the juice if you lose. If you think the Cowboys can bounce back, the Eagles and Cowboys as the top two is +380.
The NFC South feels easy. I am fairly confident the Bucs and Falcons will finish as the top two. While I think the Bucs will win the division, even if the Falcons win it and the Bucs finish second, we’ll cash. That NFC bet is currently +160, and it’s one of my favorites.
Other NFC Futures Best Bets – Team Specials
Picking a couple of the team specials to look at for our NFL Futures bets today, we’ll start with the best NFC picks with the Atlanta Falcons. Falcons to score 1+ touchdowns in every regular season game at +300 feels like a good bet. With Michael Penix, Drake London, Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and other weapons, I expect them to move the ball down the field.
The next team we’ll look at is the Dallas Cowboys. Last year was a down year for this Cowboys team. Even during a down year, Jalen Tolbert had seven receiving touchdowns. The season before that, Brandin Cooks had eight receiving touchdowns. George Pickens is currently +150 to have 8+ receiving touchdowns. Yes, this team will want to run the ball more. However, I still think Pickens to get 8+ receiving touchdowns as defenses focus on Lamb is a lock.
Next in our NFC best bets, let’s look at the futures for team specials on the Eagles. This was the best rushing team in the league last year. Between Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, this team seemed unstoppable on the ground. In fact, out of the 17 games, they only had three without a rushing touchdown. One of those was the last game of the season when it was all backups. Eagles to score 1+ rushing touchdown in every regular season game is +600 and seems like a great longshot futures bet.
Last, we’ll turn our attention to the Tampa Bay Bucs. How can we not place a wager on Mike Evans to have 1000+ receiving yards in the regular season? He’s +125 to do what he’s done ten straight seasons. You can’t fade him until he shows he’s worth fading.
