The Pacers have started to run away with the Eastern Conference Finals. Not only are they leading 2-0 in the series, but they get to head home on Sunday night. That’s all good for them, but winning games is not what we’re here for today. As always, we’re looking at the first bucket props for May 25. NBA First Bucket Props – May 25
New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers

While the Pacers are running away with the series, the early bucket data has been at a deadlock. Both teams have won one of the two tips and scored one of the first buckets. In fact, the first bucket has been entirely reliant on who wins the tip, as both teams have scored on their very first shot attempt of the day. That gives me faith that we’ll see another Knicks first bucket in this one. Despite the tips having been split in the series, the Knicks were far better during the regular season. Myles Turner was one of the worst jumpers on the season – winning just 26.5%. With Karl-Anthony Towns sitting 16.4% ahead of there, I think he’ll grab them the first possession.
If we’re going with an individual player in this one, I like the aforementioned Karl-Anthony Towns. There are a few of reasons why I like him to score the first bucket. For one, he took one of the Knicks’ first three shots in both of the first games of series. Additionally, there’s nobody who is getting to the free throw line at a better clip than he is. And finally, he’s been active from three-point in this series, racking up 13 attempts already. With a diverse set of ways to score along with the early volume, Towns seems like the name to get behind.
