Going in, the guys expected a game where Philadelphia might be missing Saquon Barkley and Washington was fresh off a bye. Eagles vs Commanders kicks off Sunday, November 1 at 8:20 PM ET in Landover, MD, and the number they played was Commanders -6 when they taped on October 28. Ryan laid it and Sean took the points. Both are in the NFL Picks Week 8 episode.
Eagles vs Commanders Odds
The Commanders were 6-point favorites with a total of 40 when the guys taped on October 28. Ryan read the money line on air as Commanders -260 and Eagles +220.
Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Commanders -6
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Eagles +6
Sean started with the Eagles’ side. He saw some optimism about Tanner McKee getting going, and he blamed the running back situation and a poor defense for how shaky Philadelphia has looked. Ryan did not expect Saquon Barkley to make it through a game, calling it a soft tissue problem that will not clear up in four days.
Then Sean went at Washington. Jayden Daniels, he said, has not won since October 5, 2025, and Ryan put the stretch at 0-7-1 over the last eight. Sean did not think you can lay six with that team, with a defense he said has looked bad and an offense that will be without Terry McLaurin.
Ryan was not moved. After what he called a heartless, gutless showing against the Cowboys, he wanted nothing to do with Philadelphia. He predicted Dan Quinn would have a master class, and he griped about a scheduling quirk that has the Eagles playing back-to-back division games against teams coming off a bye. Sean answered that it is a week-to-week league.
The back half got heated. Ryan floated that the front office was quietly tanking for draft stock, and Sean shut that down. A bunch of players not playing hard, he said, is not an organization telling them to tank. Ryan could not explain the effort either, and he still ended on the Commanders. Sean ended on the Eagles and told him to enjoy laying six.
