Sean made the case for Arizona. He liked the offense to hang around in this one. He noted that Jacoby Brissett ranks third in completion percentage over expected, while the Dallas defense allows the fourth most over expected. He thinks the Cardinals can run on the Cowboys and that Trey McBride can attack them in the passing game.

He also called this a spot where a big home favorite can fall flat, and he said the Cardinals have shown up on the road and not at home, so coming off a loss is the time to back them. Sean also pointed out that Brissett and the Cardinals won 27-17 in Dallas last year.

Ryan was working from the other side of the same question. A Cowboys fan would point to a better defense over the last two games, but he and Sean agreed the Eagles game does not count for much, and Sean, an Eagles fan, called that defensive effort gutless. Ryan wanted to fade the idea that the Dallas linebackers have figured things out. He also floated Brissett turning this into a legacy game after a few awkward press conference moments. A full touchdown sounded crazy to him, but his model could not find a way to take the Cowboys.
