Colby set the tone. He doesn’t know how anyone lays points with Oklahoma when the offense can’t move the ball, and he brought up the 14 points the Sooners scored at home against New Mexico as the proof. He’ll grant that the Mississippi State defense hasn’t been good. He still calls Starkville a hard place to win and says he’ll take Hail State all day.

The question mark is Kamario Taylor. The guys noted Mississippi State played without him last week, and Ryan described his issue as a toe injury. Ryan’s pick comes with that caveat attached: he’s on the Bulldogs assuming Taylor plays. Asked whether he’d stay on them without Taylor, Sean wasn’t sure, while Colby said yes, since he still expects Mississippi State to move the ball some against a team that can’t score.

Sean’s own reason fits in a sentence. He doesn’t want Oklahoma as a road favorite, not in the SEC.
