The Steelers were 2.5-point favorites over the Colts with a total of 45 when the guys taped on October 7, and neither host wanted the points. Sean Green and Ryan Kramer both took Pittsburgh for the game on Sunday, October 11 at 1:00 PM ET in Pittsburgh, PA. The segment is on the NFL Picks Week 5 episode.
Colts vs Steelers Odds
Pittsburgh was a 2.5-point favorite over Indianapolis with a total of 45 when the guys taped on October 7.
Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Steelers -2.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Steelers -2.5
It starts with the schedule. The Colts played in Europe and now have to go on the road again, and the guys passed along a note from X that only one team had been in that spot before: the 2025 Browns, who got destroyed by these same Steelers. Pittsburgh comes off a Thursday night loss with extra rest. On the show it got called a smash spot.
On the field, the guys like the Steelers run game against a Colts defense they said ranked 30th against the run before facing Washington. The bigger angle is Daniel Jones. The show has Pittsburgh third in havoc rate with seven forced fumbles, and noted Jones has four fumbles in his last two games and looked jumpy in the pocket against Washington. If Patrick Graham’s defense takes away the first read, the thinking goes, Jones holds the ball and the turnovers come.
There was one note of caution. At 2.5 the price looked a little trappy, and this version of the Pittsburgh defense hasn’t been what was expected. It didn’t last long. Aaron Rodgers getting the ball out quick to backs and tight ends in the middle of the field is how this Colts defense gets beat, and both hosts landed on Steelers -2.5.
