Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Rams -3
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Bills +3
The segment opened with the case for the Rams. Yes, it’s a Josh Allen bounce-back spot, but that was about the only thing pointing to Buffalo. The question all season has been what the Bills’ defense actually is, and last week’s answer wasn’t encouraging. The Rams’ coach should have his way against it, the Rams’ run game should be healthy, and the expected script was Los Angeles holding the ball on long, methodical drives. The one fair pushback was that it could turn into a shootout.
Sean heard that and went the other way. He cited Allen’s against-the-spread record after a loss, as an underdog and in a dome, all comfortably winning by his numbers, and said prime time is when Allen shines. He isn’t impressed with the Rams, pointing to two interceptions and some really bad throws from Stafford in their comeback win, and six touchdowns against six interceptions.
Sean also expects the building to lean Buffalo, with plenty of Bills transplants out in LA and a Rams crowd that doesn’t always show up. Ryan countered that the Bills play in Vegas the following week, and plenty of traveling fans will pick that trip over Los Angeles. He also noted that the bigger money was on the Rams and called it a classic pros versus joes game. Sean stuck with the Bills plus the 3, and Ryan laid it with Los Angeles.
