2026 NFL Fast Futures Bets: Next Player To Record 150+ Rush Yards In A Game
Jonathan Taylor (+450)
Jonathan Taylor posted three games of 150-plus rushing yards last season. Therefore, he makes the most sense as the favorite. However, he’s still a favorite of +450. His biggest outing last year reached 244 yards against Atlanta.
The Colts still treat Taylor as the clear lead back and gave him more than 300 carries a year ago. Sure, that’s a concerning amount of usage. The offense continues to lean on him in early downs and short yardage. That volume plus his vision and excellent talent keeps another huge day very realistic in the NFL futures rushing yards market.
Derrick Henry (+650)
Derrick Henry owns 19 career games of 150-plus rushing yards. He ranks among the top in league history for 150-plus rushing-yard games. Yes, he is older. However, he added to more last year, including 216 yards late in the season.
Baltimore may have a new coaching staff. That staff will know that he’s still a key piece to this offense. His role as the physical closer shouldn’t shrink any. He’s shown he can still break tackles and wear defenses down in the second half of games. Age has not removed the threat of a spike, and at +650, he is a great addition to the NFL futures rushing yards bets.
Jahmyr Gibbs (+750)
Jahmyr Gibbs ripped off 219 rushing yards in a single game last year. David Montgomery is no longer there. Even though I do think Pacheco will get some touches, I don’t know if it will be at the volume Montgomery got. Gibbs’ early-down work should increase this year, and Dan Campbell is ready to lean on him.
At +750, it’s hard to ignore him in your NFL futures rushing yards bets. The Lions have ranked very well in yards per carry in the past. A new offensive line makes me slightly hesitant. However, extra carries in a scheme built for explosive plays give him a clear path to another massive game.
James Cook (+1200)
The next running back to consider in the NFL futures rushing yards bets is James Cook. He’s as good as anybody to have the first 150+ rushing yard game of the season. Cook led the NFL in rushing last season and produced a 216-yard game along the way.
Buffalo creates space on the perimeter and commits to the run when games stay close. Cook’s speed and cutback ability turn ordinary looks into gains. The Bills’ offense already proved it can support that kind of explosion. Another 150-plus-yard outing fits his profile and seems like a great value play at +1200.
Kenneth Walker (+1400)
Kenneth Walker joins the list of running backs to consider after his team change. Now on Kansas City, he will handle the bulk of the carries. That’s important when defenses are focused on accounting for Patrick Mahomes. The biggest issue with Walker has always been health. The talent has always been there.
Last season, Walker topped 1,000 regular-season rushing yards and added a large postseason total. He ended up winning the Super Bowl MVP as well. The Chiefs’ offense can create lanes, and he won’t be splitting the backfield as he did with Charbonnet in Seattle. A fresh scheme and heavier workload raise his chances of a 150+ yard performance.
Ashton Jeanty (+2000)
Ashton Jeanty has some longer odds at +2000. He’s dealing with a sprained ankle right now. However, there are some thoughts that he’ll be back by Week 1. Jeanty served as the Raiders’ lead back as a rookie and showed he can handle a full workload. After a huge career at Boise State, his rookie year may not have been as promising as some thought. However, they made some big changes.
Las Vegas should feature the run more this year. They should have improved blocking with Tyler Linderbaum anchoring the offensive line. With improved quarterback play, Jeanty should have a clearer role that will give him a chance to break one game wide open. That upside makes him a worthwhile NFL futures rushing yards long shot.
