Chicago Cubs vs Cincinnati Reds

We’re checking in on the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds series again, with my research this time pointing me towards a play on a visiting Cubs player.

That player would be shortstop Dansby Swanson, who has 16 homers this season, and, most importantly, two long flies in 14 career at-bats against tomorrow’s opposing starting pitcher, Andrew Abbott.

Best Bet: Dansby Swanson (+820)

Toronto Blue Jays vs San Diego Padres

Start Time: 4:10 PM EST

Naturally, we have to make at least one stop in California, in this case in San Diego, where the Padres are hosting the Toronto Blue Jays in an interleague series.

Multi-time All-Star Kevin Gausman isn’t having a stellar year on the mound for the Jays, and he won’t be especially happy seeing the Padres across the diamond, as both Fernando Tatis Jr and Manny Machado have hit him hard over his career. Machado is my play.
