The Carolina Hurricanes finally got over the hurdle of the Eastern Conference Finals; now they look to do the same in the Stanley Cup Finals and win the second Cup in the franchise’s history. And they get two kicks at the can.
The first kick is on the road tomorrow in the desert. The way the Canes seem to have figured out the Vegas Golden Knights the past two games makes them a hard team to pick against. Yet, here I go doing just that.
Like most bets with me, it comes down to home ice. The Golden Knights are 7-3 at T-Mobile Arena this playoff run, and Carolina has already stolen a game in that rink. The odds say they won’t steal a second. And, what’s even better, we’re getting the home side for plus money.
