NASCAR heads to Music City this weekend for the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. The 1.33-mile concrete track is unique and not directly comparable to any other on the Cup Series schedule. Despite its name, it’s not a “superspeedway” in the way a Daytona or Talladega is; Nashville is in name only. Let’s dive in and take a look at this week’s NASCAR picks, odds, and best bets for the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Daniel Suarez hit the weather jackpot last week, and cashed us a 150/1 longshot given out on the NASCAR Gambling Podcast as he won the Coca-Cola 600. While Richard Childress Racing hasn’t made any formal announcements on the future or full-time plans of the now #33 car, Austin Hill has been tapped to fill the role for another race at Nashville

As mentioned in the open, there are no direct comparisons to Nashville, but Dover is likely the closest. I’ll also be pulling from the four 1.5-mile races; Bristol and Darlington can be used slightly, and current form is always something to look at, especially this far into the season.

NASCAR Picks, Odds, and Best Bets: Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway
Ty Gibbs Top 10 (-110)
It’s absolutely ridiculous that they keep offering odds like this on Ty Gibbs. Thank goodness for them looking at past performance and not factoring in recent performances. Look at Ty Gibbs here over the last few years, and it’s not good. I do not care. The Ty Gibbs we’ve seen in 2026 is a completely different version, and he’s proven he can run with the best of them week in and week out. He wrecked at Texas, and Talladega is a drafting track. Outside of those two races, he’s finished nine races in a row inside the top 10.
Not only has he finished inside the top 10, but he’s also shown he belongs with the front-runners. Gibbs is a threat to win each and every week. Now that he’s gotten that first win at Bristol, a high-speed concrete track like Nashville. The wins will keep piling up. I’m car-lifting, or laddering Gibbs from top 10 to a win this week at 16/1.
Erik Jones Top 10 (+400)
If you want to go with a slightly longer and riskier shot, Erik Jones pops to mind this week. Jones has been fantastic here in Nashville over the years. In the NextGen era, Jones finished 11th in 2022. He followed it up with an eighth-place run in 2023. In 2024, the race was chaos, going into five overtime’s and Jones had a mechanical issue anyway. He came back last season and put up another good run, scoring a seventh-place finish.
Then you look at what he’s done lately, and that also m makes you feel good about this bet. Jones had speed last week at Charlotte and scored a 13th-place run. At Dover in the All-Star Race, he finished third behind Toyota teammates Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe. The week before, it was a 12th-place run at Texas. He also finished 10th at Darlington, a track he loves. Things are looking up for the driver of the #43, and he’s headed to a track he’s strong at.
Denny Hamlin to Win (+450)
There’s no reason to look past the favorite when you are picking your outright driver near the top of the board. Denny Hamlin loves this track, but hasn’t been able to secure a win here just yet. He’s led over 70 laps in all four NextGen races at this track, and he’s hungry to win a guitar. In fact, there might not be a driver hungrier in the field right now than Denny Hamlin. He’s got that light and the end of the tunnel he’s chasing, and he’s firing on all cylinders.
What tracks do we want to look at for Nashville? Dover, Denny blew the field out of the water on his way to a second career All-Star win. There was no question that he was the best car. The 1.5-mile tracks, Hamlin led 75-laps last week, and if that last caution had come out a lap later, he would have been the leader. He finished second at Texas and dominated Kansas, leading 131 laps before overtime cost him the win. In Las Vegas, he led 134 laps en route to a victory. He’s the fastest car and best driver right now. Ride the hot hand.
