Washington Capitals vs New York Rangers
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
The Washington Capitals continue to be the biggest surprise in the NHL this season, with 86 points in only 61 games (their over/under entering the season was 89.5 for the full 82-game season). And Alex Ovechkin still has a shot at beating Wayne Gretzky’s career scoring mark before this season is complete.
The New York Rangers were supposed to be where the Capitals are this season, but they are having a disappointing year, currently residing in fifth place in the division. And they’ll be without star defenseman Adam Fox for the foreseeable future with a shoulder injury.
Plus, the Rangers are mediocre at home in Madison Square Garden, while the Capitals are the best road team in the NHL this season. And Washington beat the Rangers in both their meetings this year.
All signs point to us getting a great deal on Washington tomorrow on the moneyline as a slight favorite.
