College Basketball Picks February 27
Rutgers +9.5 @ Michigan
The Scarlet Knights fell to the Wolverines back on February 1 in Piscataway, 66-63. Rutgers didn’t have Dyland Harper, their best player, available in that one and was able to hang in there against one of the Big Ten’s best teams. Ace Bailey scored just 10 points and went 3-15 in that game as well.
With Harper back in the lineup and Bailey playing much better basketball as of late, I think the Knights can keep this one close and possibly win the game. After escaping with a win against Nebraska 49-46 in their last time out, the Wolverines have been playing solid basketball as of late.
They have won eight of 10 games despite covering the spread in just two of those ten games. The Wolverines have proved they can escape with close victories but struggle covering spreads, especially larger numbers like this.
