While the NBA continues to grapple with a successful solution to breathe life into their All-Star Weekend, the NHL seems to have come up with a winner. This year’s inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off has, for the most part, been a runaway success as a replacement for this year’s NHL All-Star Game. For my SGPN Parlay for Thursday (February 20th): 4 Nations Face-Off Parlay, I’ve cooked up a winning Same Game Parlay for the tournament’s championship game.

After their passionate first meeting a few days ago, tomorrow’s Canada vs USA rematch – for the 4 Nations Face-Off Championship – is one not to be missed. And, despite beating Canada on their home ice in Montreal 3-1 in that aforementioned game, and steamrolling Finland 6-1, you can find Team USA as a slight underdog for Thursday’s game in Boston.
So I’ve been forced to commit treason and make the United States on the moneyline the first half of my parlay for tomorrow.
The second half of the parlay is under 5.5 goals to be scored in this game. As mentioned, both teams only combined for four goals when they played earlier in the tournament. And with so much on the line tomorrow night, I expect a tight, chippy game with not many pucks finding the back of the TD Garden nets.
