Tomorrow in the NBA looks like it’s going to be all about players debuting with their new teams. All this roster churn is making my numbers a little less reliable, but I still found a couple of winners for us for Saturday. Here is your NBA prediction and preview for Saturday, February 8th.
NBA Predictions & Preview For Saturday, February 8th
Golden State Warriors vs Chicago Bulls
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
One of those aforementioned debuting players should be Jimmy Butler, who will be wearing a Golden State Warriors jersey for the first time in his career. However, I don’t think this move makes the Warriors a title contender nor does it ensure they’re going to blow out the Chicago Bulls tomorrow on the road.
The Warriors are a poor road team this season, and you’d expect some kinks to have to be worked out with Butler in the lineup. I like Chicago to keep it close for us.
Best Bet: Chicago +6.5 (-110)
New Orleans Pelicans vs Sacramento Kings
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
Speaking of bad road teams, there are none worse (other than the Washington Wizards, who are tied) than the New Orleans Pelicans and their 4-21 away record. Yet they aren’t a big enough dog heading into Sacramento tomorrow night.
So that makes the Kings on the spread the play. I have this game lined up as Sacramento -12.5, so the home Kings in their castle is the play.
Best Bet: Sacramento -7 (-105)
Overall Record: 100-76 (57%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,520.62
Return on Investment: 9%
