College Basketball Picks February 6
Ohio State -2.5 vs. Maryland
The Buckeyes are one of the more confusing teams in the country this season. They have wins against Texas, Kentucky, and Purdue, yet lost to Pitt and Indiana. Although they have nine losses, KenPom ranks them as the 25th-best team in the country, with solid offensive and defensive efficiencies.
I have spoken about my love for this Maryland squad, especially when it comes to making a run in the NCAA tournament. But, as the road team, the Terrapins are 2-4 against the spread, and in conference games, they are 5-6 ATS. Maryland’s size and athleticism present tough matchups for their opponents, but the Buckeyes elite guard play at home will be the deciding factor in this one.
