The Super Bowl is set! The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. It’ll be a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII from just two seasons ago when the Chiefs won a thriller 38-35. So let’s jump in and take a look at the Super Bowl LIX early odds.
The Philadelphia Eagles have made their second Super Bowl in the last three seasons. They lost the aforementioned Super Bowl LVIII in the closing seconds. They faced the daunted Super Bowl hangover last year, starting the year 10-1 before losing seven games in a row, including the Wild Card loss to the Buccaneers. Philadelphia destroyed the Washington Commanders in Sunday’s NFC Championship game, scoring seven rushing touchdowns en route to a 55-23 victory.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make history. They are now one win away from the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat. Not only is it their third appearance in a row, it’s their fifth appearance in six years. They are 3-1 in those four games. As expected it was a fireworks shootout with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, but Mahomes and company held on at the end to win 32-28.
Super Bowl LIX Philadelphia Eagles Vs Kansas City Chiefs: An Early Look at the Odds
The Spread
Kansas City -1.5 (-112)
Kansas City Moneyline (-125)
Philadelphia Eagles +1.5 (-112)
Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline (+105)
The Kansas City Chiefs open as short favorites over on DraftKings Sportsbook. Philadelphia is just a short favorite, showing us the books expect another close one just like we had two seasons ago. When these teams matched up in 2023, the odds were flipped with Philadelphia being the 1.5 point favorites. Despite this being the Chiefs third Super Bowl appearance in a row, they were underdogs in the last two.
The Total
50.5 (-110 each way)
The total is set at a modest 50.5 on DraftKings. The teams combined for 73 points in Super Bowl LVIII. In their respective conference championship games, they scored a combined 87 points. I anticipate this total will quickly rise over the next few days. Two of the Chiefs last three Super Bowls went under this total, their win against Philadelphia the only one that went over it.
Super Bowl LIX Philadelphia Eagles Vs Kansas City Chiefs: An Early Look at the Odds
Super Bowl MVP
Patrick Mahomes +110
Saquon Barkley +250
Jalen Hurts +300
Travis Kelce +1500
Xavier Worthy +2800
AJ Brown +3500
Kareem Hunt +5000
Chris Jones +5500
Devonte Smith +6500
Jalen Carter +7000
It’s no surprise at the top of the MVP odds. Patrick Mahomes and Saquon Barkley have carried their teams to this game. It’s hard to picture a world where one of these two superstars isn’t responsible for carrying their team to the Lombardi and in turn winning the MVP. It’s worth noting after the top three there’s a lot of value to be had starting with Travis Kelce at 15/1.
