College Basketball Picks January 2
Oregon -4.5 vs. Illinois
Sorry, Oregon fans. It was a tough one last night in the College Football world, as the Ducks fell embarrassingly to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff. On the positive side of things, Dana Altman once again has this Oregon basketball team in the national conversation.
In what was supposed to be a down year for Oregon, the Ducks have proven to be an extremely formidable squad. Not only are they battle-tested with good wins, but they have only lost one game this season to a solid UCLA team.
Oregon is 8-5 against the spread and 8-3 against the spread following a win. They are facing an Illinois team that travels across the country and plays a late-night game in Eugene. Let’s not overthink this one. Ducks roll here.
