Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions Preview and Predictions

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions Preview and PredictionsIn what is the NFL Week 15 game of the week and possibly a Super Bowl Preview, Josh Allen and the Bills head to Detroit. Allen currently the overwhelming favorite to win the regular season MVP could put the nail in that coffin if he can lead the Bills to a victory against the best team in the NFC. Below are my Bills at Lions Preview and Predictions!

The Buffalo Bills receive some good news coming into this game as they expect to get a few key players back for this game. Keon Coleman who missed the past several weeks does not have an injury designation this week. Additionally, safety Taylor Rapp and Damar Hamlin were participants in practice on Friday. Additionally, Dalton Kincaid did practice in a limited capacity as well.

Meanwhile, the Lions do see the return of offensive lineman Taylor Decker, and defensive lineman D.J. Reader. Furthermore, Levi Onwuzurike was a full participant in practice for the Lions. Both teams are healthy and look to finish the season strong. This will be a huge game for both teams for playoff seeding.

Best Bets

There is no doubt that this is the game of the week and maybe the season. This is big a test for the Detroit Lions going up against one of the superior teams in the AFC. The Lions have been very good at home since 2022. In fact, in that span, the Lions are 17-4 SU and 13-8 as a home favorite. In the same span, in non-conference home games, the Lions are 5-2 SU and 6-1 ATS.

The spot is a difficult one for the Bills who are playing their second straight game on the road. A few weeks ago, the Bills played in the snow game against the 49ers and then traveled across the country to play against the Rams in a 44-42 loss. Now, they travel to Detroit which could be a bad schedule spot. However, I do trust both offenses in this game and I would be surprised to see more fireworks in this game.

Best Bet: Lions -2.5 and Over 54.5

Player Prop Best Bet

David Montgomery Over 15.5 Receiving Yards

Quietly, David Montgomery has become a part of the Lions passing game. In fact, Montgomery has at least 20 receiving yards in six straight games for the Lions. Additionally, Montgomery has 33+ receiving yards in three straight games. The Buffalo Bills are allowing the third most receiving yards to the running back position. I fully expect the targets and yards to continue being there for David Montgomery.
