The Tennessee Titans hit the road to play the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday. Kickoff will take place at 1:00 p.m. ET on Fox. This game features the biggest spread of the weekend, up to 11.5 points on some books. Let’s dive in and take a look at this Titans-Lions preview and predictions.
Tennessee comes into this game with a record of just 1-5, and fresh off trading wide receiver Deandre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs. Will Levis was limited in practice with his shoulder injury again on Wednesday. All signs point to another Mason Rudolph start for the Titans.
The Detroit Lions come in riding high at 5-1 and fresh off beating the previously unbeaten Minnesota Vikings to take control of the NFC North. Wide receiver Jameson Williams will begin serving his two-game suspension for banned substances this week.

Sam LaPorta Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Jameson Williams is out for the Lions this week opening up a few targets and the Titans defensive unit is their one bright side, so expect Jared Goff to look for quick passes to LaPorta more this week.
It’s been a chore for Detroit to get Sam LaPorta open this season, lots of attention.
They’ve started to work in some TE delays to hide him. This is the best of that so far. LaPorta fantasy owners rejoice. pic.twitter.com/wyK2BgSWQJ

The tight ends have been able to do work against the Titans for just that reason over the last few weeks. Mo Alie-Cox caught for 41 yards last week and Dalton Kincaid 52 yards the week before. LaPorta has had a quiet season, but he’s one of the elite tight ends in the league.
Detroit Lions -11.5 (-110)
The Lions are one of the best teams against the spread (5-1) in 2024. The Titans are one of the worst teams ATS (1-5). 11.5 is a big number in the NFL, but the Lions have shown they can beat up on not-as-good teams like the Seahawks and Cowboys. The Titans have proven they can lose big to the good teams like the Packers and Bills. No need to get cute here, Lions roll.
