The Tennessee Titans head to Orchard Park, New York to take on the Buffalo Bills in the game with the biggest spread (8) on the weekend. The Bills will have a new toy for Josh Allen in wide receiver Amari Cooper whom the team traded for on Wednesday. This game will take place at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday and airs on CBS. Below is a look at my Titans-Bill preview and predictions.
The Titans limp into this game with a record of just 1-4 having left a lot on the table this season. First-year starter Will Levis has had a few shining moments, but a lot of head-scratching moments as well. The Titans are just a few key plays away from being a three or four-win team.
The Bills are coming off a Monday night game that wasn’t an easy one against their division rival the New York Jets, but they walked away with the victory. The trade for veteran receiver Amari Cooper immediately bolsters this Buffalo offense that at times has struggled to get into a rhythm without a true #1 option for Allen. Despite that, the Bills are 4-2 on the season and in control of the AFC East.

Josh Allen Over 31.5 Yards Rushing (-120)
While Amari Cooper will probably be worked into the game plan right away, but Josh Allen is still going to run the ball. Through their first six games, Allen has averaged over five carries a game including multiple games of nine carries. The Titans’ defense hasn’t done well against quarterbacks who are capable of running the ball. Malik Willis ran for 73 yards on them in just six carries, while Tyler Huntley went for 40 on eight attempts. Allen will scramble early in this game and could hit this number in just a few attempts.

Buffalo Bills -8 (-120)
The underdogs have been barking this season, but that trend cooled off last week and this feels like a case of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Titans have struggled and Will Levis has forced too many mistakes. Now you head on the road to the hostile territory of Orchard Park to face a Buffalo team that needs to make a statement after a sub-par performance on Monday Night against the Jets.
Amari Cooper coming to town is going to inject life into the veins of Josh Allen, the Bills offense, and in turn, the entire Bills team. Tennessee might hang around for a little while, but as they did with bad teams in Jacksonville and the Tua-less Miami Dolphins the Bills will put this team away. They are the best survivor pool candidate on the slate as well if you are still alive and have them available to you.
