NFL Week 6 Player Prop Best Bets

D’Andre Swift Over 19.5 Receiving Yards

Over the last 4 weeks of the regular season, Swift has been involved in the passing game for the Bears. In each of the last four weeks, Swift has at least 22 receiving yards for the Bears. Over the last two weeks, Swift has combined for 119 receiving yards. They matchup this week against the Jaguars in London.

Running backs vs the Jaguars in the passing game have found plenty of success. With the exception of Week 2, at least one running back has gone over this projection. Running backs against the Jaguars are averaging 57 receiving yards per game. I like Swift to continue his involvement in the passing game.

CeeDee Lamb Over 86.5 Receiving Yards

The Detroit Lions have struggled this season against the slot wide receiver position. A position where Ceedee Lamb primarily plays. This season slot wide receivers against the Lions:

Week 1: Cooper Kupp 14 rec, 21 targets 110 yards, 1 TD

Week 2: Chris Godwin 7 rec, 8 targets 117 yards, 1 TD

Week 3: Michael Wilson & Greg Dortch 11 recs, 15 targets, 99 yards

Week 4: Jaxon Smith-Njigba 8 rec, 12 targets, 51 yards

The Cowboys coming off a week where the offense could have been better if it wasn’t for Dak’s turnovers in the red zone. There was visible frustration from CeeDee in the game. Last season these two teams matched up in Dallas and Lamb went off for 13 receptions on 17 targets for 227 yards and 1 touchdown. All four slot wide receivers the Lions have faced have gone over their receiving yardage total. I expect the same from Lamb this week.

Kirk Cousins Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Kirk Cousins is coming off a historic game in Week 5 on Thursday Night Football against the Buccaneers. Cousins in that game threw for 500+ yards and four touchdowns. In Week 6, Cousins and the offense take on the Panthers whose passing defense is struggling. In fact, the Panthers’ defense has allowed all five quarterbacks they have faced to have at least two passing touchdowns. With extended rest coming in this division game, I expect the Falcons offense to continue playing well led by Cousins.

Drake Maye Over 25.5 Rushing Yards

The New England Patriots make the inevitable change at the quarterback position turning to rookie Drake Maye. His first start will be against an aggressive defensive line of the Houston Texans. Thus far this season, the Texans have faced three quarterbacks who aren’t afraid to utilize their running ability to make plays. Anthony Richardson, Caleb Williams, and Josh Allen all went over this projection.

Furthermore, in a short appearance this season, Maye did scramble for 12 yards on 2 attempts. The Patriots’ offensive line is dealing with cluster injuries and if Maye’s first or second read isn’t there I would expect him to take off and gain yards with his legs. Lastly, the Patriots will be without Rhamondre Stevenson this week so I would expect opportunities for Maye.

Dalton Schultz Over 31.5 Receiving Yards

The Houston Texans will be without their #1 wide receiver Nico Collins for at least four games who was placed on IR with a hamstring injury. In this particular game, I like Schultz to get some of the yardage and targets that will be available. Last season, there were two instances where Collins did not play for the Texans.

In those two games, Schultz accumulated 58 and 71 receiving yards. This season, tight ends against the Patriots are averaging 53 receiving yards per game. Over the last three weeks, tight ends versus the Patriots are averaging 72 receiving yards per game. Lastly, Schultz is the primary tight end for the Texans who has played 303 of the total 351 snaps.

YTD Record: 16-5 (76.2%)
