Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans Preview and Predictions

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans Preview and Predictions

NFL Week 6 features another division matchup with two AFC South teams. The Indianapolis Colts will visit the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in a game where there are questions surrounding who is starting for each team. Both teams are dealing with multiple injuries and the status of those players is up in the air in this key division game. The Titans are coming off a bye week and the Colts are coming off a division loss on the road in Jacksonville. Here are my Colts at Titans Preview and Predictions.

The injuries are piling up for the Indianapolis Colts. First, Anthony Richardson is dealing with an oblique injury and was a limited participant in Colts practice this week. Additionally, the Colts’ top two skill position players are dealing with injuries. First, Michael Pittman Jr. is dealing with a back injury and could be out for this game. Also, Jonathan Taylor is dealing with an ankle injury and has not practiced this week and could more than likely be out.

On the other side, the Titans are coming off a bye week and we are not sure who is going to be the starting quarterback. Will Levis is dealing with a shoulder injury but has been at practice this week. We’ve seen the terrible decisions that Levis has made this season leading to turnovers and the questions arise if Mason Rudolph will get the start.

Best Bets

I swore off the Titans this season but this spot is ideal for them. Coming off a bye week and a team that is playing in back-to-back road games. The injuries are piling up for the Colts with Taylor and Pittman Jr. As much as the conversation has been about the quarterback play for the Titans, their defense has been elite. The Titans are allowing the third least yards per play thus far this season. The one area I expect the Titans to have success is on the ground.

The Colts are allowing 157 rushing yards per game and 4.5 yards per carry. If the Titans don’t want their quarterback to play to determine their outcome, running the football could lead to the Titans getting a victory here.

Best Bet: Titans -2.5

Player Prop Best Bet

Tony Pollard Over 63.5 Rushing Yards

As I mentioned above, the Colts possess one of the worst rush defenses in the league. In the first two weeks of the regular season, the Colts allowed 350 rushing yards combined. Last week Tank Bigsby had plenty of success on the ground rushing for 101 yards on 5.95 yards per carry.

Tony Pollard comes into this season is coming off his best rushing game of the season against the Dolphins where he ran for 88 yards. Pollard has did face the Colts in 2022 and ran for 12 carries and 91 yards with two rushing touchdowns.
