Formula One heads to Monte Carlo this week to take on Circuit de Monaco. One of the most prestigious races in F1 kicks off a great day in racing. In the United States, you can kick off your day with a little coffee and F1 before moving to the Indy 500 and capping the day off with NASCAR’s Coke 600. Now, let’s take a look at the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix Odds and Best Bets.
Circuit de Monaco is laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbor of the Principality of Monaco. The 3.337 km (2.074 mi) track consists of 19 corners with just one DRS zone. The drivers will race around the course for 78 laps. The first Monaco Grand Prix was run in 1950.

Nico Hulkenberg: Winner Without (Redbull, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston Martin) (+285)
For most of the season, this award has gone to either Yuki Tsunnoda or Nico Hulkenberg. They’ve finally caught on to Yuki, dropping him to -105 this week, although that’s still worth considering. Last week at Emilia-Romagna, it was Tsunoda’s 10th, with Hulkenberg the next “best of the rest” in 11th. At Miami and Japan, it was Hulkenberg’s 11th-place finishes.
He took top honors in China and Saudi Arabia, finishing 10th in each while coming in ninth in Australia. Hulkenberg continues to prove, week in and week out, that he’s a top player for this winner, making his number at almost 3/1, a great deal.
Yuki Tsunoda Points Finish (+110)
As mentioned above, Tsunoda continues to show up and get it done week after week in the 2024 season. In four of the last five events in 2024, Tsunoda has come home with a points finish. He scored seventh-place finishes at both Australia and Miami in that stretch.
Last season, he settled for a 15th-place finish at Monaco but showed speed in qualifying, starting ninth on the grid. If he can bring that qualifying speed this season, on top of how he’s been performing and getting the job done, it should be a points-finish match made in Monaco.
Yuki Tsunoda Over Daniel Ricciardo (-143)
This is a simple head-to-head between teammates. Who finishes better? Well, through seven rounds of the 2024 F1 schedule, the clear answer has been Yuki Tsunoda. Only twice this season has Ricciardo beat Yuki. To open the season in Bahrain, Ricciardo got Yuki by one spot. Then, in China, neither finished the race and again, it was Ricciardo by just one spot. In the other five Grand Prix, it’s been Tsunoda easily, and I’d expect more of that this weekend.
Fastest Qualifier and Win the Race Sergio Perez (+4000)
I’m going to call my shot on Checo Perez this week. Perez is one of the best drivers on street circuits in all of Formula One. He’s also in a Red Bull, which, if you haven’t noticed, has been fast as of late. Sergio is no Max; we all know that. But imagine a world where he comes out and gets the best in qualifying or even starts in the top three like he did two seasons ago.
It’s hard to pass at Monaco. If Perez can nail it in qualifying or take advantage of a mistake by Max or anyone else, he’s going to be one tough customer to pass. I’d advise grabbing his outright at 16/1 as well, but love the extra value you get at 40/1 to do both. Especially for the driver who just won this race two seasons ago.
