It’s been a nice day one of Underdog Fantasy. Corey Conners hit 11 fairways to cash his prop. Sam Burns is shooting well over par to cash his prop. Collin Morikawa is on his way to shoot over par as well. Hopefully, we have a three-for-three and 5x cash to start The Masters after this delay.
The conditions will be a lot tougher this Friday, so better ball striking will be rewarded. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite Underdog Fantasy plays for The Masters on April 12th.

The Masters Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em Plays – April 12th
Scottie Scheffler Higher Than 69.5 Strokes
Fading Scottie Scheffler is never a fun thing and not something I do… ever. I will say, shooting 69 in tomorrow’s winds will be immaculate and I see Scheffler shooting in the 70s. He admitted in his interview to “stealing a few shots on the par threes” and “getting lucky on 13”.
I agree with both of those sentiments as that round of 66 could have easily been 69. Tomorrow will be much harder and 69 seems to be the lowest score guys will post. Roll with Scottie to shoot higher than 69 for our first Underdog Fantasy play for The Masters on April 12th.
Jon Rahm More Than 2.5 Bogeys
Rahm made five bogeys in round one in what will be the easiest of scoring conditions. Tomorrow, the wind will gust up to 40 miles per hour and the high scores will be flying. Rahm did not hit as many greens as he is used to and is truly yet to look like his usual self in 2024.
Vijay Singh Less Than 2 Birdies
Vijay posted a respectable 75 in round one of the 2024 Masters. He made two birdies or better in that round, and I am not sure how he will repeat that in Friday’s weather.
Two, three, twelve, and thirteen feel like the only chances he has to make a birdie, whereas today, he had upwards of eight realistic chances to make birdies. If he was only able to do that twice on Thursday, I do not see that coming to fruition on Friday. Pencil in Vijay to make less than two birdies for our final Underdog Fantasy play for The Masters on April 12th.
