Only four teams remain in the 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament. Two number-one-seeded teams, UConn from the Big East and Purdue from the Big 10, made it here. No. 4 Alabama is representing the SEC. 2024’s March Madness glass slipper fit the No. 11 Wolfpack of North Carolina State out of the ACC. Who is this year’s March Madness Final Four DraftKings DFS Cinderella? Here are my 2024 NCAA Tournament March Madness Final Four DraftKings DFS picks and plays!

2024 NCAA Tournament March Madness Final Four DraftKings DFS Picks and Plays
The Final Four tips off Saturday evening, April 6th, at 6:09 p.m. ET on TBS/TNT/truTV. In game one, the Wolfpack will try to become the first-ever No. 11 seed to make the NCAA Tournament championship game after becoming just the sixth No. 11 seed to make the Final Four. They will take on the No. 1 seed Purdue Boilermakers and star Center Zach Edey.
The second game of the March Madness Final Four will tip off around 8:49 p.m. ET and can also be found on TBS/TNT/truTV. This game will feature the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide in their first-ever Final Four match. They’ll take on defending champion No. 1 UConn, who looks to be the first team to repeat as national champions since the 2006-2007 Florida Gators.
Now let’s take a look at a few of my favorite picks and plays for DraftKings DFS for this weekend’s 2024 March Madness Tournament Final 4 games. We’ll be referencing the salary prices for the two-game slate. Showdown salaries are higher.
Zach Edey (F) – Purdue $11,300
Let’s get it out of the way. Zach Edey is a stud. A physical stud, a basketball stud, and a DFS stud. You’ll likely need to find a way to work the 7-foot-4-inch center for the Boilermakers into your lineup. Edey is the highest-priced player on the board ($11,300), with Mark Sears being only ($8,400).
Zach Edey has averaged 58.45 DraftKings DFS fantasy points per game in the 2024 March Madness tournament. Edey is averaging 30.0 points per game and an incredible 16.3 rebounds per game.
DJ Horne (G) – NC State $8,200
DJ Burns, the forward from NC State, will be a popular play in the Final Four. However, DJ Horne, the guard from North Carolina State, is a player to consider as well. Horne, who has made 103 three-point shots this season, is one shy of the school record of 104. He has had himself a strong tournament and can go off from behind the arc.
Horne has averaged a solid 28.57 DraftKings DFS fantasy points per game in the 2024 March Madness tournament. DJ scored 20 points, grabbed four rebounds, and had three assists in Sunday’s Easter victory in the Elite Eight over Duke.
Horne, the fifth-year senior, isn’t afraid to show up in big games. Against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC championship game, Horne went off for 29 points, scoring 36.5 DraftKings fantasy points.
Cam Spencer (G) – UConn $7,200
Speaking of guys who can get hot and go off, look no further than the UConn grad transfer Cam Spencer. Spencer has been a shooter since day one in college basketball. As a freshman at Loyola (MD), he shot 44% from downtown. Last year at Rutgers, Spencer shot 43.4% from three-point range.
This season with UConn, Spencer hasn’t slowed down. If he’s not scoring the most points, he’s snagging rebounds and distributing assists to his talented teammates. In the Elite Eight against Illinois, he had 11 points but grabbed 12 rebounds, had five assists, blocked two shots, and got a steal.
Spencer’s strong day was fueled by a cool 41.5 DraftKings DFS Fantasy points. With a championship trip on the line, look for the green light on a big day from Spencer.
Grant Nelson (F) – Alabama $6,200
Nelson is a star in the making. If you are looking for a cheaper option that can pop off big time, look no further than Alabama’s Grant Nelson. In the first two games of the tournament where Alabama didn’t really struggle with their opponents, Nelson was pretty quiet. He scored only 6.3 and 9.8 DraftKings DFS fantasy points in the first two rounds, respectively.
When Alabama was challenged, Nelson showed up big time. Against North Carolina, Nelson put the team on his back, at one point going on his own seven-point scoring run and forcing a Tar Heel timeout.
Nelson scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 54.0 fantasy point game. Nelson has shown inconsistency that will scare some, but in the toughest game of the year for the Tide, look for him to step up big time.
