Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 2

Khris Middleton – Higher than 5.0 Rebounds

If he can stay on the court and out of street clothes, Khris Middleton could be the Milwaukee Bucks X factor down the stretch and into the playoffs. And currently, he’s filling just that role.

It’s the rebounding that’s standing out to me currently, as Middleton is averaging 8.0 boards per game in March. More importantly, he’s topped this five-rebound bar in five straight games. I see no reason why he can’t make it six games in a row on Tuesday against Washington.

Kelly Olynyk – Higher than 5.0 Assists

Kelly Olynyk – playmaker extraordinaire. The fairly recently acquired Toronto Raptor (and local boy) has been ingratiating himself with his new teammates by setting them up for scoring opportunities.

Olynyk is averaging 4.8 assists per game since joining the Raptors, and has been even more charitable recently. He’s dishing out 5.7 assists per game in March and has topped five assists in four straight games (and got five exactly in the game before that).

Jalen Brunson – Higher than 28.5 Points

Jalen Brunson is on a heater, so let’s jump on the bandwagon for his game tomorrow at home against the Miami Heat. The way the New York Knicks point guard has been playing 29 points should be a breeze.

Brunson famously erupted for 61 points last Friday in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He followed that up by dropping 30 on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Plus, he poured in 32 points the last time he faced off against the Heat.
