Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 29
Kawhi Leonard – Lower than 22.5 Points
I think Kawhi Leonard’s points projection of 22.5 for his game against the Orlando Magic on the road tomorrow is a tad bit too high, so let’s take the lower.
Leonard is averaging 23.7 ppg for the season, but he’s only at 22.5 for March. And he’s only scored 23 or more in a game once in his last four contests. Plus, Orlando is one of the NBA’s top defensive teams, the same team that held Leonard to eight points in their only other meeting earlier this season.
Tyrese Haliburton – Lower than 18.5 Points
Let’s fade another star’s point total for Friday night, shall we? Tyrese Haliburton has not been playing like himself over the past couple of months, and I don’t think he’s topping 18.5 points tomorrow against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Haliburton has failed to reach 19 points in two of his last three games and six of his last nine games. He only averaged 17.9 ppg in January, 16.1 ppg in February, and 16.4 ppg in March. Despite this, I still plan on winning my fantasy league with him as my top pick.
Pascal Siakam – Higher than 22.5 Points
While Haliburton might not score tomorrow night, he’ll be racking up lots of assists helping Pascal Siakam score. Siakam has been his regular steady self since joining Indiana earlier this season.
‘Spicy P’ has topped 22.5 points in four of his last five games and five of his last seven. But, most importantly, he scored 36 points against the Los Angeles Lakers less than a week ago.
