Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 28
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Higher than 18.5 Rebounds and Assists
Two nights ago, on Tuesday, we rode with this stat combo for Giannis. He had averaged 12 rebounds per game over his last 12 games against the Lakers, which made it seem like 17.5 was right in his wheel-house. Not only did he beat the mark, but he did it with just rebounds – he had 21.
New Orleans is a much better rebounding team than the Lakers, but I still think he gets on the glass here. He had 12 boards the first time he played them this year as well.
CJ McCollum – Higher than 4.5 1st Quarter Points
In his last 12 first quarters, McCollum has cleared this mark in 10 of them. In both of the games he missed, he had the shot attempts to get him there. Both games saw him take three shots and at least one of them was a three pointer. Milwaukee is in the bottom third of the league in points allowed, so he should get enough looks here to get these numbers on the board.
Malik Beasley – Higher than 11.5 Points
Beasley is seeing a nice uptick in the amount of three pointers in a game the Bucks are letting him shoot. Despite having just 6.8 attempts per game on the year, he’s averaged over 8 per game in the last two months (8.4 in February and 8.2 in March). He also averaged 3.9 makes per game in February, which would be enough to clear this projection alone. When you add in that the Pelicans allow the 2nd most three point attempts in the league, Beasley should get his.
