Well, Degens. On Wednesday night, The Quick Pick came within inches of yet another banger. But, like Meatloaf once sang, “two out of three ain’t bad.” Specifically for those NHL Underdog Insured option players who took home 0.75x profit last night. Readers and tailers are up on the week and Thursday we are going back at it again.
While the calendar tells us it is officially March Madness Day, the NHL offers up a loaded 11-game slate. So don’t fret if your bracket is busted after today’s games. The Quick Pick will always be there to pick you up and help you cash that next banger! Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for March 21.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for March 21
Sebastian Aho Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.1x Odds)
I’ve started talking myself into believing that the Carolina Hurricanes are coming out on top of the Eastern Conference. They have bolstered their offense, and their coach is absolutely top-notch. It’s also been because of the play from Sebastian Aho that the Canes are in the spot they are.
He is now up to 75 points this season and comes into Thursday night on a four-game point streak. Aho has tallied five assists in his last three games, and tonight, he’s going to get one against the Flyers. With just a little bit of extra mustard on him, let’s take Sebastian Aho Higher Than 0.5 Assists against Philadelphia.
Connor Bedard Higher Than 0.5 Points
As I have written many times before, sometimes you have to find value on exceptional players on terrible teams. Rookie sensation Connor Bedard fits the description here because he is exceptional, and his team is terrible.
Thursday night, the Hawks will be in Anaheim for a matchup between Western Conference bottom-feeders. But Bedard comes into the game with points in each of his last two games.
And he has tallied a total of 14 points in just nine games here in March. This game is like a 16 seed versus a 16 seed, but Bedard is the lottery pick with the future. So, we’re taking the exceptional Connor Bedard to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Ducks.
Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Tampa Bay Lightning are leaving things later than usual this season, but they’ll end up sliding into the playoffs. While the Madness is going on on the hardwood, the Lightning should have a lay-up of their own against the Sharks. Veteran defenseman Victor Hedman has put together a fine season of 12 goals and 55 assists to date.
He has also tallied five assists across six games in just the month of March. I foresee a Hedman helper on the Power Play tonight against an abysmal Sharks unit. Let’s go ahead, and mash Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Sharks and cash this banger!
