Some days, you get the bear, and some days, the bear gets you. On Monday, I swept the board, and the bank account looked healthy. Yesterday, the board was trash, and it was the first airball of the season. The plays were still the right size, but they came in the wrong shape. Nique Clifford (Colorado State) Higher Than 21.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Colorado State’s Nique Clifford is coming into the Mountain West Conference tournament averaging 12.5 points, 7.3 boards, and and 2.7 assists per game.
Clifford has faced San Jose State once this year, and he did some damage to the Spartans. On February 9th, Clifford racked up 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists against SJSU.
He’s also cleared 21.5 PRA in three of his last four. Look for Clifford to eat in this first-round match-up as the Rams absolutely roll the Spartans. Make sure he’s a part of your Underdog Fantasy college basketball pick ’em entry for March 13.
Khalif Battle (Arkansas) Higher Than 21.5 Points
The Khalif Battle heater continues. Battle has seen an increase in minutes since mid-February, but his production has gone through the roof.
Battle is only averaging 14.3 points for the season, but he’s gone higher than 21.5 points in five straight games.
He actually played Vanderbilt during his hot streak, and he absolutely roasted the Commodores. Battle went 9-for-17 from the field, 14-for-17 from free, and 4-for-10 from three against Vandy.

Elijah Fisher (DePaul) Lower Than 16.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Hello? 9-1-1? I’d like to report a murder. Villanova gets DePaul in the opening round of the Big East conference tournament. If there was a spectrum of teams according to effort, DePaul would be on one end, and Villanova would be on the exact opposite side. Villanova should absolutely drill DePaul today.
Elijah Fisher is averaging 10.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists entering this game. Fisher has failed to go over in each of his last two games, but that’s not really the angle.
Fisher has faced Villanova twice this year. On December 23rd, Fisher only managed nine points, rebounds, and assists combined in 29 minutes. The results didn’t improve the second time around. Fisher only managed six points, rebounds, and assists in 20 minutes against the Wildcats.
DePaul should lose by thirty, and most of the second half will be played by bench guys and walk-ons. Go lower on Fisher’s PRA number today.
