For the second time in the last three days, we swept the card. Michael Bradley cleared 3.5 assists before halftime. Trey Townsend filled up the stat sheet against Cleveland State, and Mitchell Saxen went under on his PRA. Today’s slate is a bit smaller, but we’ve got a bunch of numbers to choose from to try to sweep again. Let’s dive into my Underdog Fantasy college basketball picks for March 12.

Jesse Edwards (West Virginia) Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds
West Virginia gets Cincinnati in the first round of the Big 12 conference tournament. The same Cincinnati that just wrecked the Mountaineers a few days ago. Dub-Vee gets up for this game, and Jesse Edwards returns to normal and clears his rebounding total.
Edwards is averaging 8.2 rebounds per game coming into this matchup. He’s cleared 7.5 rebounds in seven of his last five games. He missed in Cincinnati, but he got into foul trouble and still grabbed four boards in 18 minutes in a blowout loss.
When the two teams met in Morgantown, Edwards pulled down 10 rebounds. Look for Edwards to get closer to 10 than four, and make sure you’re on the higher side of his rebounds total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Tae Davis (Notre Dame) Higher Than 5.5 Rebounds
Davis is entering the ACC conference championship averaging 5.2 rebounds per game this year. However, he’s scored 5.5 rebounds in four of his last five games.
Davis has also faced Georgia Tech twice this year, and he’s gone higher than 5.5 rebounds in each game. He racked up 10 boards on January 9th and six rebounds on February 14th. Look for Davis to go higher today, and make sure he’s in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 12.
Jordan Derkack (Merrimack) Higher Than 3.5 Turnovers
Sophomore forward Jordan Derkack has filled up the stat sheet all year for Merrimack this year. Unfortunately, one of the categories he often fills up is the turnover portion of the box score.
Derkack has turned the ball over four or more times in each of his last four games. He faced Wagner twice this year and managed four turnovers in the second matchup after only one in the first.
Derkack is going to play a full 40 minutes or close to it, and he has been known to get his pocket picked from time to time. Given the trend and the volume, he’s likely to cough the ball up at least four times. The under on his PRA is also in play for this game.
