Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 7

Tyrese Haliburton – Lower than 18.5 Points

Tyrese Haliburton isn’t exactly setting the world on fire like he was to open up the season (I should know – I have him on my fantasy team). His per-month scoring average has decreased every month since his peak of 28.6 in November. And he hasn’t topped 18.5 ppg in a month since December.

He scored 19 points in his last game, but that was the only time in his past six games that he has topped this 18.5-point projection. And he’s up against the league’s top defense, that of the Minnesota Timberwolves, tomorrow night.

Mike Conley – Higher than 6.0 Assists

Sticking with the Indiana vs Minnesota game, let’s take the higher than six assists for Minnesota’s floor general, Mike Conley. The Pacers are a sieve of a defensive team, so Minnesota is going to get some points up on the scoreboard.

Conley is averaging a tad above six dimes on the season – 6.2 to be exact. And he’s topped this six-assist projection in three of his last four games. I think he gets it done on Thursday as well.

Mikael Bridges – Higher than 3.5 Assists

Another one of my fantasy players (as if you care) is Brooklyn’s Mikael Bridges. While he’s having a bit of a disappointing season, I like him for a higher play for Thursday – higher than 3.5 assists.

Bridges is averaging 3.7 assists for the season, and has at least four helpers in two straight games and three of his last four. And he’s up against Detroit tomorrow and their abysmal defense.
