Well, degens. The Quick Pick is off to a slow start this week after Tuesday night’s Underdog entries went one for three. We’re going to chalk it up to a weird night on the ice, with plenty of wild comebacks. Or epic meltdowns, whichever way you are looking at it. The good news is we have a three-game NHL slate on Wednesday with new opportunities to cash a banger. So remember the words of Walter, “I’m perfectly calm, dude,” and let the profits come to you! Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for March 6.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for March 6
Rasmus Dahlin Higher Than 0.5 Points
Disclosure: This first entry has a little bit of “homer bias” in it. The Buffalo Sabres have shown a bit more of that “dog” in them over these last couple of games. I was proud to be in attendance when they dropped seven on the VGK this past weekend. That being said, it was only momentary and inebriated jubilation.
Wednesday night, it’s a meeting with their north-of-the-border rival Maple Leafs. Let’s key in defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, who has three points in his last four games. And in two games against Toronto this season, Dahlin has a goal and an assist.
Close your eyes and pray to the Underdog gods for Rasmus Dahlin to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against Toronto.
Mikko Rantanen Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Colorado Avalanche are rounding into fine form as the season moves closer to the playoffs. Wednesday night, they’ll be on home ice and welcome the Detroit Red Wings into town. Winger Mikko Rantanen has been on an assist tear lately, tallying one in each of his last seven games.
Here at The Quick Pick, we’re firm believers in mashing trends until they burst, so we’re doing it again tonight. And oh, by the way, two weeks ago, Rantanen logged an assist against these same Red Wings. So grab your hammers and smash Mikko Rantanen Higher Than 0.5 Assists tonight against Detroit.
Frank Vatrano Higher Than 0.5 Points
At this stage of the season, the Anaheim Ducks are playing for pride. Then again, so are their opponents on Wednesday in the Ottawa Senators. Our third NHL Underdog entry tonight is our old pal Frank Vatrano.
He is up to 48 points on the season and now has three in his last three games. And back on February 15, Vatrano logged a monster three-point night on the box score against these Senators.
Once more into the fray, we go with our buddy Franky V. Go ahead and take Frank Vatrano Higher Than 0.5 Points against Ottawa, and let’s print some cash.
Best Ways to Build Your Wednesday Card
-Play these two players together using the “Standard” option on Underdog for a 4.8x winner
-Play all three players together using the “Insured” option on Underdog for a chance at a 2.4x winner for all three or a 0.8x winner for getting two out of three.
