Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – February 28
De’Aaron Fox – Higher than 26.5 Points
The man with the great last name, De’Aaron Fox, is on quite a heater. He’s topped this 26.5-point projection in four straight games, bumping his season average up to 26.9 ppg. The defending champion Denver Nuggets, who the Sacramento Kings play tomorrow, have an ok defense, but nothing spectacular. And Fox scored 30 last time he played in Denver.
Jamal Murray – Lower than 10.5 Rebounds + Assists
I hate to fade a fellow Kitchener native, but I think this 10.5 rebounds plus assists total for Jamal Murray is a bit too high. He’s only averaging 10.3 boards plus dimes on the season and has only topped 10.5 once in his last four games. This includes a game against Sacramento, who he is playing tomorrow, where he put up a total of one rebound and three assists.
Domantas Sabonis – Higher than 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Just like teammate De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis is on a heater. However, he is a triple-double heater. He’s done the deed in three straight games and an amazing six of his last seven. And, more importantly for this play, he’s gone higher than 39.5 points plus rebounds plus assists in eight of his last nine games, with two of those games against Denver.
