The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for February 27

Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists

The Toronto Maple Leafs have caught fire here in February, having won seven straight. Inside that seven-game win streak, winger Mitchell Marner has been a man on fire.

He comes into Tuesday’s game against the VGK riding a 10-game point streak. Marner also has tallied at least one assist in each of his last seven games. Oh, by the way. Mitch just nabbed two assists against these same VGK just five days ago. Grab that hammer and smash Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists tonight against the VGK.

Joel Eriksson Ek Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.2x Odds)

This Minnesota Wild team has been playing some good hockey this month, winning seven of their nine games. A Wild Card spot isn’t out of reach just yet, but the sand in their hourglass is running low. Ek took a bit of a hit in their last game out, but their coach, John Hynes, has indicated he is good to go.

Joel has been on a heater of late, tallying assists in four straight games. He also comes into Tuesday’s matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes riding an eight-game point streak. Let’s go ahead and take Joel Eriksson Ek Higher Than 0.5 Assists at a nice price tonight against the Hurricanes.

Timo Meier Higher Than 0.5 Points

The New Jersey Devils have probably let this season slip away from them, which is unfortunate. Tonight, they face the lowly Sharks in San Jose, and I have a hunch Timo Meier is going to show up for a change. I say that because Timo has been underwhelming this season.

However, tonight, he gets a shot at his old team on the ice he skated on for so long. He does have three points in his last five games, so it’s not an incredibly tall order here. So come on, Timo Time! We’re cashing this banger by taking Timo Meier Higher Than 0.5 Points against his old team, the San Jose Sharks.
