The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for February 24

Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists

As loyal readers will recall, I loathe the Toronto Maple Leafs. But those same readers will also recall that I’ve always put aside personal beef in the name of cashing bangers. The Leafs head to Colorado tonight on a six-game heater. Our first NHL Underdog entry is on a heater of his own, bringing a nine-game point streak into tonight.

We’re looking for an apple from Mitch, which shouldn’t be too difficult to find. After all, Marner has now recorded an astounding SIX straight multi-assist games in a row. So grab those hammers because we are smashing Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists in Colorado tonight.

Joel Eriksson Ek Higher Than 0.5 Points

This name should look familiar, as we just called upon Eriksson Ek to snag a point in last night’s article. Not only was he successful in doing so. But the Wild were able to dust off the Oilers and find two big points. Minnesota travels south tonight for a meeting with the Seattle Kraken, which has massive Wild Card spot implications.

Eriksson Ek is now sporting a seven-game point streak, including seven goals and seven assists in that stretch. The Swede is hotter than Elvish Steel, and we’re entrusting him to make it an eight-game point streak. Go ahead and take Joel Eriksson Ek Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Kraken.

Roman Josi Higher Than 0.5 Points

With our third NHL Underdog entry, we go from a Swedish centerman to a Swiss defenseman. Roman Josi and the Predators will be in the Shark Tank on Saturday night, and it should be an easy street. The Preds have won three straight and Josi now has three points across those three games.

The defenseman also has one point in one game against these same Sharks this season. We’re not going to overcomplicate the anchor to this banger. This is an All-Star defenseman facing a sub-par opponent. Let’s take Roman Josi to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the abysmal Sharks and cash this ticket!

Best Ways to Build Your Saturday Card

-Play these two players together using the “Standard” option on Underdog for a 4.08x winner

-Play all three players together using the “Insured” option on Underdog for a chance at a 2.04x winner for all three or a 0.68x winner for getting two out of three.
